These maritime themed treasures represent the elegantly simple technologies of old days, when people didn’t have digital assistants to open their front doors as they approached, or lock their valuables behind hidden, sliding doors. The Pirates and sea- trading sailors had keys – old fashioned, jangling, iron keys on big key rings that fit the locks that protected the chests of pillaged, stolen or traded treasures. Our nautical inspiresd keychains have a little more glitz and glamour than a gaoler’s big iron ring of keys. Each is a solid metal alloy with a brass, copper or gold finish and uses a ‘screw open’  style ring to keep one’s keys from their common and frustrating habit of disappearing into that same hidden place where X marks the spot. But, for some reason, is rarely where we left it.
